Did you know that 1 in 8 women is diagnosed with breast cancer? I definitely did not. As I sat in the cold waiting room awaiting yet another treatment, I was surrounded by photos of trees and flowers. I knew that what I needed in that moment were photos of women having gone through this before me, what I needed was hope.
Each year in the United States, about 264,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women. This group is too big to be ignored. We have endured so much but we have not lost our spirit.
We are true warriors. We are so much more than our diagnosis. It’s time to celebrate that beauty! Join me on this adventure!
This is a 3 Part Project for survivors of breast cancer
If you are NOT currently going through treatment and you have received clear scans, you are welcome to participate in part one of our project**
Part One - All breast cancer survivors are photographed in our studio, they get completely pampered and will share their breast cancer story for our softcover table book which will be available in oncology waiting rooms to women currently undergoing treatment.
My goal for this project is to give women waiting for their diagnosis or awaiting treatment Hope. Part One - is to create a magazine style soft cover book with all of the women being photographed and their stories. I want every woman waiting for her biopsy results or going through treatment to have an opportunity to see these women and to read their stories and know that she is not alone, we have walked her path and we can give her the gift of HOPE.
Part TWO - A portion of each product sale will go towards the Lucyna Mielnicki Fund. This fund is in memory of my aunt, a brave pink warrior who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer. With this fund we give honor to a loved one, and show support for other warriors.
All the proceeds from the fund will be given to women needing holistic treatments and supplements.
Part THREE - Sponsors. All of our sponsors will have a page in the book that will be directly speaking to women undergoing breast cancer treatments. We want our Sponsor Partners to have prodcuts that promote wellness and healing.
Each Sponsor will allow us to provide a book to every woman that is being is being photographed.
THE BRAVE PINK WARRIOR PHOTO SESSION INCLUDES:
A Pre-Session Phone, Zoom or In Person Consultation
We will discuss everything in regards to your session including: wardrobe, styling, and getting ready details. (I will send you a comprehensive wardrobe styling guide so you will be well prepared for the day of your session.)
Professional Hair and Makeup
Make sure you have plans for a night out the day of your session, either with your girlfriends, or your significant other, because you will look and feel absolutely gorgeous!
2 Hour Photo Session + Multiple Wardrobe Changes
Don’t worry it goes by fast, you will be laughing a lot and believe me it will be unforgettable. You won’t have time to be nervous because I will pose you for the most flattering angles.
1 (One) Complimentary 5x7 Fine Art Print of Your Choice, in an elegant 8x10 Mat.
Right after your photo session we will view your portraits together. During this Reveal, you will view all of your beautiful photos, choose your complimentary print, and have the opportunity to purchase more images if you choose. Every purchased print comes with its own corresponding digital file.
Our goal is to create a magazine with an image of each woman photographed and their cancer stats. This will be distributed to oncology, chemo and radiation waiting rooms to let other women know they are absolutely not alone and we are in this together!
A PORTION OF ALL PRODUCTS SALES FROM EACH SESSION, WILL GO INTO A FUND TO HELP OTHER WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY BATTLING BREAST CANCER. (THESE PROCEEDS CAN BE USED FOR ANY HOLISTIC TREATMENTS: MASSAGE, ACUPUNCTURE, OR SUPPLEMENTS. ANYTHING NOT TYPICALLY COVERED BY INSURANCE)

OUR PROCESS - How it Works
CONSULTATION
Whether we get together in person or via zoom, this is where we get to know each other and discuss/plan your session. We start the getting ready process of making sure your experience is unforgettable.
WARDROBE STYLING
A week before your session, we will have a follow-up discussion to finalize wardrobe, go over hair and makeup and jewelry shoes suggestions. The studio does have wardrobe options which I will suggest if they compliment your vision.
PROFESSIONAL HAIR + MAKEUP
Come to the studio ready to be pampered. Our makeup artist and hair stylist will make sure you look absolutely flawless. Make sure you plan a night out after your session because you are going to look and feel amazing.
PHOTO SESSION
On the day of your Photo Session you can relax and have fun because I will pose and direct you. I will bring out a relaxed, beautiful and confident YOU!
REVEAL AND ORDER APPOINTMENT
Right after your session we will view all of your gorgeous portraits. This is when you decide what you want to purchase. My job is to take the most amazing portraits you have ever seen of yourself, so that you want to have them all.
SESSIONS ARE LIMITED
Brave Pink Warrior Project Is Limited To The First 50 Ladies.
Sessions are on a first come first serve basis only. All sessions include hair and makeup, wardrobe styling and one matted 8x12 print.
